SERENITY SCOTTSDALE
The vision for this 1950's hacienda-style home was to transform it into a luxury resort like villa. This 8,000 st. ft property features a 5-bedroom main house and 3-bedroom casita. We transformed every room adding amenities and additional bedrooms. The transformations increased the property value to nearly $2 million dollars. Serenity Scottsdale has quickly risen to superhost status on Airbnb and the reviewers are loving the property.

Backyard
The existing backyard had a pool and pickle ball court with a ton of backyard space left for activities. To expand the property's attraction we added a full size basketball and beach volleyball court. We turfed the existing yard, adding a small putting green area and overhead market lighting. For relaxation we put in a tiered water fountain, a fire pit that seats up to 10, day beds, pool loungers, and egg chairs throughout the back patio. Al fresco dining was a must; we included a table for 16, swing chairs and outdoor misters.
Kitchen
The renovation process started by placing 3 massive overhead structural beams to support the roof and to achieve the open concept layout. To avoid lack of seating so we installed a 21 foot island, consisting of 2 XL quartz slabs and 10 counter stools. We put in all top of the line appliances including a freestanding Italian range and built-in microwave drawer. We built out an appliance wall with a custom hood vent, open shelving, and counter to ceiling backsplash. Installed a new black iron accordion-style sliding door leading outside.
Gym
The master had two walk-in closets, this transforming into a STR a second closet was not needed. We converted the second closet into a luxury gym to add to the list of amenities. The wall was torn down and replaced with an all glass wall entrance and custom black siding. Cushioned gym flooring, a tonal, 2 pelotons and a full set of dumb bells.
Speakeasy
With a fair amount of dead space in the living room, we added 2 interior walls and created a Speakeasy. Instead of a standard door, we installed a bookcase door which led into the room. We added a bump out shiplap electric fireplace, a custom neon light, and a bar for guests to enjoy.
Converted Garage
We converted the over-sized garage into a game room and 2 additional bedrooms, and a bathroom. We stocked the game room with arcade games, ping pong + foosball table, Nintendo Switch, and other board games. A custom painted mural and an egg chair was added to complete the fun room.
Custom Built Bunk Beds
As part of the existing garage, we added some interior walls to create this room and worked with our contractor to design and build these custom triple bunk beds.
